Thank you, Kim for the wonderful interview. I just finished reading it.

I'm so sorry to say, that so women share the common of having been molested as a child.

I believe that the sexual abuse leads so many of us (including myself) to abusive relationships - whether it's verbal, physical, emotional, psychological.

It is so brave and refreshing to have your take being about forgiveness.

In my Christian upbringing - forgiveness was a logical step. However, it took me many years that I had forgotten a very important step in forgiveness.

That step was forgiving myself. Forgiving myself for any part I took in perpetuating the emotional abuse. Forgiving myself for tolerating inappropriate behavior.

Stopping the self critical inner voice and learning to love me for who I am.
