Party Boy

Greetings Y'all,

The McCain camp is just getting downright ridiculous now.
Desperation is an ugly, ugly thing.

I wonder, will we see John McCain lose his civility on national T.V. tonight? That might be interesting.

But who is that guy in the party hat?

Well, that is none other than John McCain partying with convicted felon, Charles Keating (drinking from a large liquor bottle). Not your average run of the mill felon but a guy who specialized in buying politicians. Did he buy McCain? Click on over to my new favorite blog, The Cognoscenti, and get the short but not so sweet story on McCain and just how much "palling around" he did with this economic terrorist. It is definitely worth reading if you don't know the facts about McCain's dealings with the Keating 5. McCain's connection with this guy makes his own accusations about Obama's link to Ayers, someone he served on a Board with, look hypocritical beyond all belief.

McCain you are no Maverick...you are just about as old school as they come.

Check out this video featuring the Maverick himself.

John McCain And The Making Of A Financial Crisis.

Peace Y'all

I love that picture. Corruption nowadays is boring. It's all about clean suits and golden parachutes. Back then, getting drunk with party girls, wearing silly hats, probably shooting a few hobos, that was corruption we could believe in!

haha! I am still laughing at om's comment above. :-)

I thought that the in-depth article that Rolling Stone did about McCain's history, with interviews of other soldiers who were POWs at the same time with him in Vietnam, a review of his low-level school scores, his use of familial relationships (father and grandfather distinguished admirals, I think), conversations with people who were in school with McCain and how he was a spoiled brat and bad student....all of this paints a fascinating portrait.

Rolling Stone didn't cover McCain's whole relationship over time with Indian gaming, where he supported them and then ditched them when it was convenient and payed off well for him, and his tax returns not showing his gambling income, are also revealing.

I was raised in AZ and had a good opinion of McCain. I thought that when he became the Republican candidate, that if he won, it wouldn't be that horrible. But, unfortunately, he's sold his soul tot he Neocon devils and now he's lost himself completely. I am sorry for that. He could have been great. Maybe he never was in the first place. Who knows.

Unfortunately, I'll be asleep here in gay Paree when the debates come on tonight, but I will see them later, along with all the commentary. We shall see!

Greetings OM and OMW,

OMW...hope you have had a chance to see the debate by now. Looks like even the republican pundits on CNN are practically throwing in the towel on McCain.

OM...yes...I posted a comment on another blog about that...I don't think McCain is any more honest now than he was when he was "palling" around with Mr. Keating...he just got more careful. Stealing from the public by the government and it's lawmakers is actually legal now anyway, isn't it?

peace
